Why Designing 3D Models for Beginners?

There are SO many things that can be done with 3D models. From 3D printing, architectural planning, VR experiences, and video games all rely on 3D models. So how do you make them? And what do you do with them? This is where you can have those questions answered by going through the design process for any of these paths. 3D design is an incredible creative outlet, and once you start you won’t want to stop designing. I start students with a short introduction where we will work together to analyze where they are at concerning their skills as well as their motivations, and from there we will work to get them from where they are to where they want to be.

I am the owner of Geeko Labs and a long-time instructor/mentor for youth. I've spent the last 7 years of my life working with youth as an instructor, curriculum developer, program director, and mentor. I decided many years ago that I would commit my career to creating a program that would give kids the best skills that they needed to succeed, and the most exciting tools to create with. I teach my students with the experience and education I've collected through 3D modeling, 3D printing, inventing, game design, VR, robotics, web development, leadership, entrepreneurship, and project management. I'm the proud husband of a beautiful wife, and the proud father of three amazing children ages 8, 6, and 1. When I have the time I enjoy spending it playing some cooperative game with the other instructors, Nik and Cole, and you might be able to find some of our streams online soon!
